Alpine Return Policy – 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Most Alpine products include a seal. While this seal ensures product hygiene, the 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee allows products to be returned even if opened, provided they have been handled with care and are returned with the original packaging and accessories. Any concerns regarding product quality should be directed to customer service. The conditions for returning orders are outlined below.
Incorrect or Defective Product
Orders are assembled with the utmost care. However, if a product is delivered incorrectly or is defective, it must be returned according to the instructions provided by customer service. A photo of the defective item must be provided when contacting customer service. Alpine will cover the shipping costs for the replacement product. Customers may choose between a full refund via the original payment method, a replacement order, or store credit for a future purchase.
Incorrectly Ordered Product
Products ordered incorrectly by the buyer, including orders with incorrectly entered addresses, are the responsibility of the buyer.
Returns are permitted, but all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds include only the purchase price of the product; the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Dissatisfaction / 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Products that do not meet expectations due to fit, comfort, insufficient noise reduction, or difficulty of use qualify for the 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Returns may be requested within 100 days of delivery. Customers are encouraged to use the product for a minimum of 10 days before submitting a return request. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Customers may choose between a full refund via the original payment method or store credit for a future purchase. Returns will not be accepted if there is evidence of product misuse or if the request is submitted after 100 days (unless legally required).
Right of Withdrawal
The agreement may be terminated as follows:
- 30-day period: For incorrect or defective items supplied by Alpine (standard consumer rights).
- 100-day period: For dissatisfaction or fit issues under the 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
- Hygiene exemption: Earplugs are sealed hygiene products. Once the seal has been broken, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies - this is a standard exemption under EU consumer law (Article 16(e), EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU).
- Custom made products: Different conditions may apply to custom made earplugs. Please contact our customer service for specific information regarding the return policy for custom-made products.
- Returns must include all accessories and original packaging and be sent according to the instructions of Alpine Nederland B.V.
Costs in Case of Withdrawal
Defective or incorrect items: Replacement shipping is covered by Alpine.
All other returns: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible via the original payment method and no later than 30 days after receipt of the returned product.
Fair Use Policy
To ensure the 100-Day Satisfaction Guarantee remains fair:
- Products must be used for a minimum of 10 days before a return or refund request is submitted.
- Claims may be denied if patterns indicate misuse, such as repeated refund requests for the same product type.
- The guarantee applies only to first-time purchases of a product type.
- The guarantee applies to individual customers; bulk or repeat orders require separate arrangements.
- Alpine reserves the right to refuse return or refund requests in cases of misuse and to exclude future orders from the satisfaction guarantee.
Legal Compliance
This policy complies with Dutch and EU consumer law (minimum 14-day cooling-off period). Customers must be clearly informed about the return process and their rights.

Fit and Attenuation Guidelines
Fit – Universal Earplugs
The sizing of universal earplugs is based on an average ear size. Thanks to the thermoplastic material, the earplugs adapt to the ear canal. However, every ear canal is different.
Do the earplugs go very deep into the ear canal and are they difficult to remove? This may indicate a larger ear canal. We recommend having custom-made earplugs created.
Are the earplugs difficult to insert and do they sometimes fall out? In that case, you may have a smaller ear canal. We recommend trying Alpine Pluggies Kids or SleepDeep Mini.
Attenuation – Universal Earplugs
Do you feel that your earplugs do not reduce enough noise? This may be due to fit issues, as described above. It may also be that you are more sensitive to sound. In that case, we recommend choosing a different product.
